frequently asked questions

Q. I’m not sure what hair look I want. Can you help?

A. Definitely! If you’re not sure what style you want, we would love to help. We try our best to ask a variety of questions to get an idea of what you may want. Remember, it is your day so if you aren't sure we will usually stick with something that feels more like you. For example, if you’re used to wearing your hair down all the time, having it in an updo might feel a little weird. So we would recommend trying a half updo allowing some of the hair in the front to be loose giving the effect of the hair being down.

Q. What should I bring to my wedding hair trial?

A. Bring photos of your favorite hairstyles – but not just from one angle. Ensure you have different views of different styles to give your hairstylist a full idea of what you’re looking for. With the right images, the stylist can have an open conversation with you on what will work or what won’t. We also recommend bringing your veil and any hair accessories so we are able to capture the full look of your wedding hair. If you would like clip in extensions applied for your trial you must bring them. (extra fee will be charged)

Q. About how long does it take you to do each hair service?

  • Bride’s Hair: 60-75 Minutes

  • Bridesmaids/Other Hair: 45-50 Minutes

ADDITIONAL SERVICES WILL TAKE EXTRA TIME (SUCH AS HAIR EXTENSION APPLICATION).  These are approximate times, and additional time may still need to be added into wedding or event day timelines.

Q. What if I have short hair and I want it to look longer? What can I do?

A. We recommend purchasing clip-in extensions to best achieve your desired look. If you are unsure, that’s ok, your hair artist will discuss with you at your trial and make some recommendations. We do not sell clip-ins but we can recommend some options. We can style both clip-in extensions or any type of permanent extensions ie. bead, sewn-in, etc. as long as it is real hair.

Q. Do you work with different hair textures?

A. Yes absolutely! Our stylists are highly trained in all types of hair textures. To us, that is was makes a great stylist— to be able to work with all types of hair.

Q. Do you require a trial run?

A. Yes.  Doing a trial run will help ensure that you are happy with your hair to look before the big day. You don't want to have to worry about that on the day of your wedding. Having had your trial run, you can sit back and relax on your wedding day knowing that you love the look that you chose.

Q. What if I want to do a trial run to decide if I want to book your services?

A. You are more than welcome to book a trial run to decide if you want to book our services. Most people know just by looking at our work and past reviews that they want to book us. If you are still unsure we can definitely book your trial run beforehand. Just remember that scheduling or doing a trial run does not secure your date. If someone else calls and is ready to book with a contract and retainer before your trial run, your date might get taken. Most of the time this isn't an issue but just want you to be aware that it has happened in some cases.

Q. When should I schedule a trial run for my wedding?

A. For hair, most brides like to come three-four months before but that is totally up to you. Most want to do it then because you are more certain of the look you are wanting, depending on the style you wanted you have time to grow out your hair and you are less likely to change your look. On the other hand, we do have some others that want to come right away because they want to have a trial before booking and don’t want their day to be booked if they wait too close to the wedding day.

Q. To meet my minimum for my wedding day, do the girls have to be a part of my wedding party only?

A.  Absolutely not! We encourage you to include your mom or mother of the groom and any other ladies that want to feel pampered on your special day!

Q. Do you have a wedding day minimum to travel to my location the day of?

A. Yes, there is a minimum of booking 5 people for makeup and 5 people for hair for any wedding or event we travel to during our high-season Saturdays. If you book makeup and hair the minimum is 10 services. If your wedding day services do not add up to our 5-person minimum you have the option of paying the minimum package price with fewer people.

Q. How do I book you for my wedding date?

A. Please fill out our CONTACT FORM first so we are able to get as much details of what you are needing for your wedding day. Once you decide you want to move forward we will send you a contract and once we receive the completed contract we will send you an invoice to pay your 50% retainer to book your beauty team!
