Tawanda | Hair Stylist

Tawanda fell in love with hair at a young age. Back in fifth grade, she noticed that her mom wasn’t great at doing hair, and the local salons didn’t make her feel pretty after a visit. She used to get her hair braided often, and one day while waiting with her sister, she started watching the stylist closely. The stylist saw her interest, gave her a mannequin, and shared a few tips — and that’s when Tawanda’s journey began. From then on, she became the family hairstylist.

She then followed her passion and became a licensed cosmetologist in 2005. Since then, she has worked in salons, the bridal industry, and even taught others about hairstyling.

Tawanda loves seeing her clients smile when they feel truly understood and cared for. For her, hairstyling isn’t just a job — it’s a way to help people feel beautiful and confident.

Beauty Background: Tawanda is a bridal hairstylist with 8 years of experience. She has worked in the beauty industry for over 13 years, including salons, teaching, and training. She’s trained with Paul Mitchell, Pivot Point, and Milady’s, and also uses airbrush techniques for hair color coverage.
