MEET THE STYLIST
Sadira | Hair Stylist
Her relationship with all thing’s beauty started at a very young age. Growing up her mom worked for a bridal hair and makeup salon and Sadira would take any opportunity she could to assist. This was the start of her industry training.
Beauty Background: In high school and college Sadira studied bridal gown design and worked in a few bridal shops. After college she went to New York to become a hairstylist. While in NY, she did hair and makeup (and even clothing) for music videos, commercials, and print work. She also dressed models for runway shows! Sadira says, “I’ve always loved dressing in vintage clothes - studying period and decade fashion, I loved dressing in mid-century style and was very heavy in the rockabilly scene, so it came naturally to me to style vintage hair, as I do my hair this way every day.” When she moved back into the area from New York, she went to hair school and throughout years of working in salons, she has always focused on bridal work because it is her absolute favorite! She takes pride in the process of glamming up a woman for her most precious day, and making her feel her most beautiful, to remember for the rest of her life . She also does makeup and hair styling in the Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia area for all type of events.
Favorite Beauty Quote: “Nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is beautiful “ - Sophia Loren
Beauty Tip: This may seem odd, but not washing your hair the day of curling it and always use heat protection when using hot tools! For your face, using micellar water to cleanse your face once you are done with your normal face wash.”
